Wear Diary

Wear diary — the black sandal after 10, 30, 100 days

If the strap leaves a mark and the mark is gone by morning, the last is doing its job.

Last / fit

A single strap that sits where a strap should: not mid-instep theater, not a thread waiting to cut. The heel is a needle you can still walk. Height is politics; this one votes for posture over punishment.

Material

Satin that photographs blacker than it is. In a hallway bulb it is ink. On wet concrete it picks up the city and does not apologize.

Where it fails

Any walk you would describe in blocks. Grass. A car with a tight pedal. If you need to dance, check the floor first.

Who it is actually for

The person who already owns the safe black pump and wants the night version — fewer straps than a gladiator, more intention than a slide.
